As the engineering manager for the Hotel Platforms team at Luxury Escapes it is my job to keep the engineers focused on producing quality code that meets th needs of our customers and drives the product forward, while balancing performance and feature output maintaining the largest revenue stream for the business, handling millions of requests per day across multiple hotel integrations. During this time I architected and managed the delivery of large scale projects that increased the business margin significantly and produced vast customer value. Continuely driving quality by pushing the boundaries of the E2Es and ensuring secure practices in all our multiple services within the hotels business domain.

Majority of my time in this role is split between: mentoring & leadership of development team members to deliver architectural and coding solutions whilst ensuring the product(s) are maintainable, performant and ensure scope is kept in order; R&D around solution design for future features and generating proof of concepts and MVP style prototypes that can then be taken into core product and project implementations.
